You will see the provider via a secure telepsychiatry visit from our secure platform.
Your provider will formulate your treatment plan collaboratively with you and discuss when you would need to schedule future follow-up visits. These can vary from once weekly, once every two weeks, once every month, or once every three to six months. The frequency varies and is multifaceted.
Horizon Healing provides treatment for a range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, mood, and personality disorders.
Yes, we do. We see patients as young as 6 years old. Children under 6 years old benefit from psychotherapy and other modalities to help a young child and their families navigate ADHD or other mental health concerns.
The cost of treatment varies depending on the type of service provided, your insurance coverage, and if you are cash pay. We offer competitive rates.
We accept a few private insurances. Come back to this page often to see what insurance companies we accept in the future. List of current insurances are located by clicking here.
This is for patients who have private insurance that allows for out-of-network provider care. A superbill is a bill that we can generate for you after your services at Horizon Healing. You would submit the superbill to your insurance company. The insurance company will determine if they will send you any funds to "reimburse" or pay any or possibly none of the costs of our services. Horizon Healing will have 72 hours during business days after the patient's appointment to generate a superbill. We can add the superbill to your patient portal.
Submitting the superbill to the insurance company is the responsibility of the patient.
Integrative Care is an approach that combines the best of conventional mental health treatments with complementary therapies, offering a more holistic and comprehensive treatment plan. While traditional mental health care (like psychotherapy and medication) plays an important role in addressing mental health concerns, Integrative Care goes beyond these methods to incorporate practices such as nutritional counseling, mindfulness, and stress management techniques.
Integrative care acknowledges that mental health does not exist in isolation—it's deeply connected to your physical, emotional, and environmental well-being. This means we treat you as a whole person, taking into account your lifestyle, social influences, past experiences, and overall health. By combining these different modalities, we support not only symptom relief but also long-term mental and emotional wellness.
Functional Medicine is a patient-centered, science-based approach that seeks to identify and address the root causes of mental health issues, rather than just treating symptoms. Unlike traditional medicine, which often focuses on diagnosing and managing diseases based on symptoms,
Functional Medicine looks at the whole person—mind, body, and environment. It involves a detailed evaluation of your unique genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors to uncover underlying imbalances that may contribute to mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and chronic stress.
In Functional Medicine, we understand that mental health is influenced by a wide range of factors, including nutrition, gut health, hormone levels, toxins, inflammation, and more. By addressing these root causes, we help you achieve more lasting improvements in your mental well-being.
Functional Medicine aims to restore balance in your body and mind through personalized treatments that might include dietary changes, lifestyle modifications, and other evidence-based interventions.
At the time of your virtual visit, the person must be located anywhere in one of the following states:
We understand that as entrepreneurs or busy people, you might be traveling during the time you have a scheduled appointment. Our provider(s) are licensed to practice in several states. You must be located in one of these states to receive care. Please be aware of this when you are scheduling your appointments. Currently, our provider(s) are licensed within the United States:
We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you do so at least 48 hours in advance and cancel your appointment through your patient portal. If you cancel less than 48 hours then your credit card on file will be charged a non-refundable late cancelation fee of $50.
When appointments are missed or canceled last-minute, it impacts not only your progress but also the care we can offer others. Our goal is to respect everyone's time, and this policy ensures that all patients receive the focused, undivided attention they deserve.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth, respectful schedule. If you have any questions, please contact our office.

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and do not provide prior 48-hour advance notice, you will be considered a "no-show." As a result, a $50 non-refundable fee will be charged to your credit card on file. This fee is necessary because we reserve that time exclusively for you, and it prevents us from accommodating other patients who may need care.
If you show up 10 minutes after your appointment time then your credit card on file will be charged a non-refundable late/no-show fee of $50. Showing up late: We understand that delays happen, but arriving on time is crucial to maintaining the integrity of your treatment plan and respecting the time of other patients.
Each state has a licensure denoting specific titles. For example, as of 2024, one of the titles in the state of Idaho includes the Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP). A few other titles you might see are Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP). These titles are designated based on the state the Nurse Practitioner license is obtained.
The one title that remains the same no matter what state is the Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
